Blogger1.What is globalization?

The term globalization is a concept and a phenomenal process of human social development. There are many definitions of globalization. Globalization in the usual sense refers to the growing global connection, the development of human life on the basis of global scale and the rise of global consciousness.Countries are interdependent in politics, economy and trade.Globalization can also be interpreted as a compression of the world and as a whole. In the long history of human development, the wave of globalization is a wave of light.Globalization, a popular concept that often occupies the headlines of the world, refers to a process of historical transformation in which the relationship between countries, regions and regions intensifies continuously.

The underlying causes of the anti-globalization trend are the continuing slump in the world economy in recent years, rising inequality, unfair resource allocation, and growing sense of social abandonment and insecurity. [10]

There is also an academic debate as to whether globalization is a real phenomenon or just a claim.Although the term has been widely used, some scholars argue that this phenomenon has existed in other historical periods. In addition, it was noted that phenomena that convinced us that we were in the process of globalization, such as the growth of international trade and the increasingly important role played by transnational corporations, were not formulated at the beginning of their establishment. Therefore, many scholars prefer to use "internationalization" rather than "globalization".Simply put, the difference between the two is that the role of the State is more important in internationalization. In other words, globalization is deeper than internationalization. Thus, these scholars argue that national boundaries are far from vanishing, so full globalization has not yet begun, and may not begin — internationalization has historically never been globalized.Smir Amin, a well-known proponent of attachment theory, argues that "globalization is a reactionary utopia" and makes a penetrating analysis of its negative implications for Latin American and Asian countries.

What does globalization bring?

Whether or not we are in an unprecedented process of globalization, past experience is enlightening. The historical experience of globalization can be divided into four broad categories: moral issues; issues of benefits; issues of convergence and exclusion; and issues of internationalism and nationalism. The following four features of globalization correspond to these four problems.

Globalization without the rule of law and morality.Marketization within any country is maturing with the gradual maturity of the legal environment. However, international marketization is not carried out under the rule of law environment, so it is impossible to "maturity".The rule of law in the international market is simply impossible without world government. When legislation, justice, and law enforcement are all part of one family, only idealists expect justice, and only those countries most capable of profiting from injustice talk about how equitable the international order is.Without global rule-of-law governments, so-called "global governance" cannot be governance that embodies international justice.

The globalization of national gains and losses cannot be foreseen. It is very difficult to talk abstractly about the conditions under which globalization benefits or suffers.Strong, weak, large and small countries may benefit, and they may suffer.Traditional China has been defeated by globalization, but it has also emerged from globalization at a high speed. The British Empire emerged from and declined from globalization. The United States, which has always been the biggest beneficiary of globalization, tends to ignore globalization because it is beginning to feel the cost.

3. Stimulate globalization in pursuit of differences. The convergence caused by globalization is shallow, but the divergence caused by globalization is profound.Pursuing differences is the most profound feature of the era of globalization.Globalization's capital has no humanity. It brings about intense social changes, stimulates the rise of various ideologies, and inevitably accompanies fierce conflicts among social groups, ideologies and even nation-states.Previous globalization brought prosperity and progress, revolution, civil war and "world war".

Promote nationalism and globalization of national boundaries. There is no doubt that internationalism in all its forms and manifestations since modern times has arisen from globalization. However, globalization has brought stronger nationalism, passports and customs, barriers to human interaction, "holy" national boundaries, more advanced weapons and stronger national defence. In previous globalizations, it was not internationalism but nationalism, especially nationalism, that prevailed.Today, we see the rise of the "United States of Europe" doctrine, the use of European currency, the consolidation of European borders, the establishment of European customs, the unification of European defence. What stimulated this new "western European nationalism"?The United States, Japan, Western Europe. . . Which one is still talking about internationalism?Who can say that globalization has wiped out national boundaries when the battlefield for border security has been extended to outer space?Once upon a time, the Olympics and the World Cup, which were established for universal joy, became the arena of nationality, competition among nations, and even the capital of competition within nation-states.
